Harrison Burton, Driver Q&A You are making your first mile-and-a-half start this weekend. Are you excited about that?
“Yes, I’m really excited. Mile-and-a-half tracks always produce some crazy racing. There’s a lot of aero stuff which is fun to work with sometimes and sometimes it will frustrate you. I’m really excited to go try it all out and see if I can play with the big boys on the bigger race tracks as well.”
What have you heard about racing at Texas?
“It’s fast is the first thing everyone says about Texas and that it’s crazy. You go off into one and two and there’s not as much banking as there is in three and four, so you kind of have to manage that and really tune to that because it’s going to be really, really hard to get both your corners exactly right throughout the whole run. Just working on one and two will be important, I think, and having good speed overall.”
What are your goals for the final three races this season?
“Win, win and win! That’s about all we are here to do. We got eliminated from the Owner’s Championship, so now we’re planning just to go and try to win and have as much fun as we can doing it.”
